MEJCI Productions LLC began as a hobby that grew into a dream that became …….a reality.

THE HOBBY

Cecil and Millie had a history of being music lovers prior to their matrimonial union.

Cecil's musical journey began 20 years ago as a teenager. He along with his cousin and friends (Ahmid, Kysan & Ali-mu) played for local parties in the city of Newark, East Orange, Irvington and other surrounding areas in New Jersey. Their interest focused mainly on club music; admiring such DJ's as Tony Humphries and the late great Larry Levan & Tee Scott. After witnessing these three DJ's manipulate music with two turntables, Cecil realized that he too could become a master at spinning records.

Millie on the other hand, has always loved the R&B style of music. Growing up in the south, she danced to such artists as the Whispers, Earth Wind & Fire and the late great Marvin Gaye. Dancing became her favorite pastime. She adapted the name "dance machine"; performing in the surrounding areas of her hometown.

THE DREAM

Cecil's obsession with music heightened and purchasing "state of the art equipment" was now a goal. He invested in nothing but the best. He would say " when people hear me play I want them to feel the music the way I do". He was well on his way to becoming one of New Jersey's hottest DJ's.

As far as Millie's dream, it began in college. The love of music included taking dance classes, as well as choreographing dance moves and performing them at campus events. She had the gift of choosing music that everyone enjoyed. Her motto was "in order to dance, you must feel the rhythm". Her love of music became an obsession. Watching her dance motivates any audience.

THE REALITY

Cecil is now mainly known for his style in being the master of ceremonies; making every wedding or reception different, letting the clients know that they're in charge and MEJCI Productions LLC is here to serve you.   Millie's reality is the love of people and making their event a special one. We, at MEJCI Productions LLC, are here to make your day special, no matter how large or small the event. We always maintain top quality equipment and make provisions to ensure our sound has the utmost clarity. You will always find a method to our sound as well as organization with our equipment.

Cecil and Millie provide free music consultations in their home for the sole purpose of establishing comfort and to bond as a family with their customers. They strongly believe in the family structure.
